Student memberships are available to students currently enrolled in a PAA accredited tertiary course. Other Membership Types

Provisional Member

Provisional membership is a temporary membership status that covers the period in which the practitioner is progressing towards acceptance for the appropriate certification membership. For example, a certified membership applicant yet to sit and pass a certification panel or a person enrolled in a PAA Resumption of Practice Program.

Leave of Absence Member

Leave of absence is a discounted membership available to certified members who intend to take a break from practice for an extended period. The minimum length of time for a leave of absence is 6 months.

Life Member

Life members are professionals specifically honoured for their dedication and service to the pedorthic industry who have been awarded lifetime membership of the Association. Each membership class can become eligible for Life membership status.

Active Non-Certified Member

Non-Certified members are professionals actively involved in pedorthics who have not been certified as pedorthists by the APRB Committee.

Please note: As of 22 October 2021, this membership class has closed to new persons.

Please note that all membership applications are subject to approval by the PAA Board.
